When mapping business processes one normally starts with either a whiteboard or an application similar to Visio. SharePoint Designer unfortunately doesn’t provide a good visual representation of what is happening in a workflow that you could take to your colleagues for review. Consequently a new addition to the workflow tool set has been introduced: Visio. Visio 2010 now comes with a template to create SharePoint workflows as shown in Figure 27.14.
