So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Creating a New Web Part Page from Backstage
Previously, you learned how to create a new Web part page from the ribbon. Here, you learn how to create the equivalent from the SharePoint Designer backstage.
1. In the SharePoint Designer backstage, click the File tab.
2. Click the Add Item tab in the left-hand menu, and then, immediately to the right, click Web Part Page to access available Web part page templates as shown in Figure 12.14.

3. Select one of the Web part page templates and then click the Create button located in the right-hand pane.
