As we discuss site templates and new site creation, this chapter aims to show you how to work with sites and site templates in SharePoint Designer.
Creating sites in SharePoint Designer as opposed to creating sites in the Web interface is similar in terms of selecting site templates and adding site objects, such as lists and document libraries. The obvious question is why would you choose to create sites in SharePoint Designer 2010 rather than via the Web interface?
