When you add list and library XSLT List View Web Parts (XLVs) to pages throughout SharePoint 2010 sites, one of the key considerations is in the appearance of those XLVs. SharePoint 2010 has seen a huge improvement over that of styling list view Web parts in SharePoint 2007.
