Exporting to Visio
Just as you can import workflows from Visio into SharePoint Designer, you can also export workflows from SharePoint Designer and view them in Visio. This becomes very powerful when you have inherited a workflow from another user and need to see a visual representation of what is happening. It could also be used to troubleshoot or enhance an existing workflow.
To export a workflow using SharePoint Designer follow these steps:
1. Open SharePoint Designer and navigate to the Workflow section.
2. Click on the workflow you want to export to open the workflow information window.
