Overriding Themable Style Sheets in a Master Page

In cases where you create a custom CSS file and attach that CSS file to your custom master page in SharePoint 2010, you might not want a site’s theme to override the colors and fonts already determined by the custom CSS file. Therefore, you need to effectively untheme your custom master page to avoid that from happening. One way to do this is to do this is to override the themable CSS file by pointing the <SharePoint:CssRegistration> control or style link in your master page to a non-themable CSS location and ensure that the link to the non-themable location is read after corev4.css or any other themable CSS files in order to overwrite themable CSS classes.
