質的手法とは何か
?
簡単に言えば質的手法とは、（言葉や絵などの）数字でないデータを系統的に収集し解釈することを言
います。量的手法と同様に、質的手法は信念の正しさを裏付けたり棄却したりする（演繹的推論）ため
のデータを集めるのに用いることができます。一方で質的手法は、データを集めて新しい説明に到達す
るという形で、帰納的推論の手助けにも用いることができます。質的手法は数字以外のデータを集める
ので、より自然な状況において適用可能です。
