Preparation

• If you have not already, review Role Play Guidelines in the Trainer Skills section

of this series.

• Review The Case of Pasta Pete’s.

• Make copies of the role plays. Each team of four or five participants will need a

copy of The Case of Pasta Pete’s, Role for Rigid Team Member, Role for

Customer-Oriented Team Member, and two or more copies of Role for

Argumentative Team Member handouts.

• Read over the handouts for each team member. Note that there will be more

than one argumentative team member.

Process

• Divide participants into teams of four or five team members. Teams of four will

have two argumentative members; teams of five will have three.
