So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

Preparation
• Review Role Play Guidelines in the Trainer Skills section of this series.
• Review The Case of Pasta Pete’s handout.
• Make copies of the role plays. Each team of four or five will need one copy of
The Case of Pasta Pete’s, Role for Rigid Team Member, Role for Customer-
Oriented Team Member, and two or more Role for Argumentative Team
Member handouts.
• Read over the roles for the different team members. Note that there will be
more than one argumentative team member.
Process
• Explain to participants that they will be divided into teams to plan how to
improve customer service in their restaurants.
