I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

Preparation
• Review Leading a Discussion in the Trainer Skills section of this series.
• Since this is primarily a discussion exercise, your preparation consists of reading
the Process and Discussion sections carefully before beginning.
• Have a flip chart and markers available.
• Have paper and pens or pencils available for each participant.
PROCESS PART I
• Begin the exercise by giving participants an example of a team with a clear
mission. A good example to use is a fire-fighting team. Firefighters understand
that their mission is to save lives and property. Whether or not the individual
fire company has a formal mission statement, the mission is clearly defined.
