I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

Preparation
• Familiarize yourself with Handout 9, which is a brochure explaining
CommunityCore, and Handouts 1—8, which are résumés of the Executive
Director candidates.
• Make sure there are enough copies of the handouts. Each team should have a
copy of each handout. If your teams are large, you may want to make additional
copies.
Process
• Inform participants that they will break into smaller teams to act as search
committees to replace the Executive Director of a nonprofit agency. The
current Executive Director is leaving soon to head up a similar but larger agency
in another state. Tell the group that the résumés represent the finalists in the
selection process.
