It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

Purpose/Objectives: Teams can be evaluated in many different ways. Most of
those evaluations depend on the results of the team or
its outcome. But teams can be assessed before the
results are in. Looking at the behaviors of the team
members and the characteristics of the team can give a
good indication of how successful that team will be.
Assessing the team at an early stage will give the mem-
bers time to improve their potential for success.
During this exercise, participants will plot a specific
team's potential on a spectrum that includes many
