I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

Preparation
• Review Leading A Discussion in the Trainer Skills section of this series.
• Make copies of the Assessment/Action Plan handout. You will need one for each
participant. Make some extras for participants who want copies to use in the
future.
• Review and become familiar with the Assessment/Action Plan handout.
• Have a flip chart and markers available.
• Have enough pencils and pens for each participant.
Process
• Tell participants that they will be doing an assessment of their own individual
team skills.
• Introduce the exercise by explaining that all members of teams need to take a
look at themselves, evaluate their skills, and decide how to improve.
