Discussion

• After making their cartoons, the participants will probably feel relaxed and

comfortable enough for a discussion.

• There were probably two or three negative characteristics that cropped up in

each team's drawing. Take each characteristic in turn and ask the participants

to relate how that specific negative behavior impacts a team.

• A discussion like this will surface many complaints that members have about

uncooperative or ineffective team members. This is helpful for two reasons.

First, it is always positive to get complaints out in the open. Second, some of

your participants may see their own faults in the cartoons and reform.

• Conclude by mentioning that some faults can be overlooked and accommo-
