It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

Purpose/Objectives: Teams are made up of individuals. Individuals have dif-
ferent beliefs, personal goals, skills, background, and
perspective. To build a framework of respect and com-
munication for team building, it is important to under-
stand the perspective of others.
This brief exercise demonstrates the difference a per-
spective makes in what we see. You will have slightly
more preparation than usual.
Use this demonstration as an introduction to a session
on communication in team building or tie it in with an
exercise on valuing diversity within your team.
