I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
324 – The Team Leader
Purpose/Objectives: The team leader sets the tone for the team. The leader
is a role model for good or ill. If the leader encourages
open communication, praises appropriately, and keeps
criticism constructive, the team members will be moti-
vated to emulate those behaviors.
This is a short exercise that will give team leaders a tool
for evaluating their performance as it contributes to an
open communication climate. It can be used with team
leaders whether they are very experienced or somewhat
inexperienced. However, it is more useful if the leaders
have had at least one experience.
