コンデンサの瓶（ライデン瓶 ）を作ってみよう
電気をためておくコンデンサ（6-8）は、電気を通す金属板で、電気を
通さない絶縁体をはさんだ構造となります。1746 年世界初のコンデンサ
であるライデン瓶は、ガラスにスズ箔を塗ったものでしたが、今回は身近
な素材で作ってみましょう。
用意するもの
・プラスチックのカップ2 個 ・化学繊維を使ったマフラー
・アルミホイル ・細長い風船1 個
やり方
❶コップにアルミホイルを巻き付けたものを2 個作り、重ねます。
❷コップとコップのすき間に、アルミホイルを幅1cmくらいに細長く折
った突起状のものをはさみます。
❸風船とマフラーをこすりあわせて静電気を起こし、風船をコップの突起
部分に近づけます。これを何度か繰り返します。
❹コップを手に持って、突起部分に触れてみましょう。バチッと感じたら
成功です。
