Strengths
- It takes into account the specific experiences of participants in the training.
- Its simplicity increases the probability that evaluation will be conducted.
- It takes into account the causal factors for success and failure.
Weaknesses
- It relies exclusively on qualitative methods and self-reports.
- It does not account for the majority of experiences, only the extremes.
- Stakeholders can see it as insufficiently rigorous.
