I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
METHODS OF QUANTITATIVE ANALYSIS
Selecting the appropriate quantitative analysis technique depends not only on the scale used to measure the data but also on the specific purpose of the analysis. Here are some examples of such purposes and the types of appropriate quantitative analysis techniques for each:
- To show the relative position of an individual in a group (measures of central tendency). Example: Is there a salesperson who stands apart from the rest of the team?
- To describe the shape of a data set (measures of variability). Example: Are the sales figures consistent for this branch, or do individual salespeople's figures vary significantly from one another?
- To show relative ranking (measures of central tendency). Example: How do Jane's ...
