B.1 IN TRODUCTION
In Unreal Engine, a distribution is a group of data types that allow you to create sev-
eral numerical objects such as constants, random numbers, interpolated values, etc.
There a re several distribution types that can be assigned to a component that sup-
ports a distribution. For exam ple, most particle properties such as Particle Color,
Color Over Life, etc. employ Float or Vector distribution types. Each distribu-
tion type gives you a number of options to con trol the details of its values.
