Although workflows are still a part of Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011, they are part of the concept of processes. Processes include both workflow and dialogs.
Workflow is as it previously existed in Microsoft Dynamics CRM—the ability to automate events that do not require user input once started.
Dialogs are interactive events that interact with users to provide a step-by-step interface for the management of a process. Figure 1.8 shows a typical dialog that can be used by individuals in customer service to troubleshoot a computer that won’t work.
