If you are using SharePoint 2007 (versus SharePoint 2010), you do not have the option to install the list components and are limited to basic integration. True integration requires the list components, and they are supported only in SharePoint 2010. If you have the capacity in your environment to implement them, doing so is highly recommended.
Your document locations will be saved and viewable in the Document Management section as records in CRM 2011. From inside CRM, navigate to Settings, Document Management, and you will see Document Management Options, which was shown in Figure 17.2.
