So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Exporting
You can export all Microsoft Dynamics CRM reports and report data in the following formats:
• XML file with report data
• CSV (comma delimited)
• Acrobat (PDF) file
• MHTML (web archive)
• Excel
• TIFF file
• Word
This option is available in the top navigation bar of any report as a drop-down near Export. It allows reports within Microsoft Dynamics CRM to be completely portable and enables you to easily manipulate the data.
To export the actual report definition (not just the report format or data), select the report you want to export from the Reports interface and select Edit Report from the Reports Ribbon. When the report properties window appears, go to the Actions menu and select Download Report, as shown in Figure 11.41.
