Campaigns are structured events that enable you to create and manage targeted marketing efforts. Campaigns differ from Quick Campaigns in that Campaigns can work with multiple marketing lists (Quick Campaigns can only work with single marketing lists), can have complex activity distribution (Quick Campaigns can only have a single activity type), and can have complex planning and management information. However, both Campaigns and Quick Campaigns can receive campaign responses. The actual marketing effort can be virtually anything—a new product announcement, company exposure at a popular event, or even an effort to convince previous customers to buy products again.
