Chapter 23 illustrated a sample IFRAME customization using a URL that showed the same content for every record of the entity where we added the IFRAME. Most of the time you’ll want to use the IFRAME to show different content, depending on the record instance of the form. For example, suppose you want to show a picture of your Contacts in the Contact form. This is a perfect scenario in which you would need to use an IFRAME in the Contact form because Microsoft Dynamics CRM has no built-in functionality to do this.
The example included in the next section illustrates how to perform a modification such as this one. You can modify or extend this example to work with other entities or application parameters.
