I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
IFD Defined
Internet Facing Deployment (IFD) is a feature that enables users to log on to Microsoft Dynamics CRM with a type of authentication known in previous version as Forms Authentication that now is called Claims Based Authentication on this new version of CRM 2011. Claims Based Authentication is a method of authentication that prompts users with a web page interface instead of Integrated Windows Authentication. (The default installation for Microsoft Dynamics CRM is Integrated Windows Authentication.)
The advantage of Integrated Windows Authentication is that it is transparent for users who access the Microsoft Dynamics CRM server from computers that belong to the domain. These computers are not required to enter user information such ...
