So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Quotes, Orders, and Invoices
Microsoft Dynamics CRM includes functionality for working with Quotes, Orders, and Invoices. They are defined as follows:
• Quote—A proposed offer for products or services for an existing customer. The Quote can include specific payment terms, a discount, and delivery terms.
• Order—An accepted Quote.
• Invoice—A billed Order.
Additional features apply to these entities:
• Multiple pricing lists/models
• Line-item discounting based on volume, customer type, or manual overrides
• Quote-level discounting
