Options for Large Documents

Larger, more formal documents typically have special parts, such as a table of contents, table of figures, index, and/or bibliography. These documents might also require specialized notations, such as cross-references and footnotes or endnotes.

To make it easier to work with more complex documents, you can use bookmarks to quickly navigate to a specific spot (or spots) in the document. You can also add nonprinting comments to the document to help you remember the status of a particular page or the need to revise particular content in the document.
