Using the Data Form

When Excel 2007 adopted the new Ribbon-based user interface, the data form lost its place as one of the readily accessible data tools on the Data menu. The form is not available via a command on the Ribbon’s Data tab. This also holds true in Excel 2013 and so if you want to take advantage of the data form to enter or find records in your database table, you need to add the Form command to the Excel Quick Access Toolbar. The form can be quite useful when you are working with extremely large tables. Figure 15.12 shows the form containing a table record.
