Creating a Template

You can create your own templates from your PowerPoint presentations. These templates can include custom logos, special design elements, and even custom color combinations and fonts (themes). You can share templates with coworkers, which can be useful if you want to create consistent-looking presentations for your small business or club. Templates can be fairly bare boned (with little or no slide content), or they can include any number of slides containing text, pictures, and other objects.

You can save any presentation as a template. To create your own template from the current presentation, follow these steps:

1. Select File to open the PowerPoint Backstage, and then select Save As.

2. On the Save As page, select Computer ...
