Building a Better “Big” Document

So far in this chapter, we have looked at how to insert special document parts, such as tables of contents, indexes, and bibliographies, into larger, more complex documents. We have also discussed tools for documents with multiple authors, including the Track Changes feature and the Compare command. Working on a large, complex document can be a daunting task; tools and features in Word make it easier to navigate, comment on, and build a bigger document both when you are the sole author and when you are collaborating with multiple authors.
