Contact Actions

The Contacts folder Ribbon also provides you with the Actions group. The commands in this group enable you to interact or “take action” relative to a contact or contacts. The Actions group commands are as follows: Move, Mail Merge, and OneNote.

The Move command is self-explanatory; you can use it to move contacts from the primary Contacts list to other folders within the main Contacts folder. When you select Move, then Other folder, a list of your Contacts folders, is shown. You also have the option of copying selected contacts to a folder.

The Mail Merge command enables you to merge all your contacts or selected contacts into a Word document. Figure 25.17 shows the Mail Merge Contacts dialog box, which opens when the Mail Merge ...
