Setting Contact Options

The setting options for the Contacts folder are found in the Outlook Options window, which is accessed in the Outlook Backstage. Select File on the Ribbon; then in the Backstage, select Options. To view the options for People (contacts), select People in the Options list. You will find that the options for how you work with your contacts are fairly sparse and are pretty straightforward. The options are as follows:

Names and Filing: These options include the full name order for contacts, as well as the default order for filing contacts (by name). The default Full Name order is First (Middle) Last.
