Organizing Contacts with Groups

We have already discussed ways to visually organize your Contacts folder using different views and the Search box. You can also quickly sort contacts in Phone or List view using the field headings to sort the list by name, company, or category, for example.

Another way to organize your contacts is to use contact groups. By default, the Contacts list is one big list with no real subdivisions. You can use contact groups to group contacts by such things as company or location. You can also create a personal group and a business group, to provide some functional division between the types of contacts you store in your Contacts folder.
