Creating Layout Masters

You also have the ability to create new layout masters. You can create a new layout master for the default slide master or you can create a new layout master for a slide master that you have added to the presentation.

Creating your own layout masters enables you to specify layouts for special slides. This negates the need for radically changing the layout of individual slides in the presentation. You can probably create a new layout faster than you can edit an existing slide in the presentation.

When you create a new layout master, it is associated with the master slide. If you have more than one master slide, make sure that you click on the thumbnail for an existing layout master that is associated with the slide master ...
