Rearranging and Deleting Slides

When you have a few slides in a presentation, you might want to rearrange them. You can reorder slides in Normal view and Outline view by dragging slide thumbnails or outline headings to new locations in the presentation, respectively. I prefer Slide Sorter view; depending on the size of the presentation, you might be able to view many, if not all, the slides in the presentation when you are in Slide Sorter view; this makes rearranging the slide order easy.

To switch to Slide Sorter view, select Slide Sorter on the View shortcuts, or select Slide Sorter on the View tab. Drag the slide to its new location; a vertical line shows the position of the slide as you drag it in the presentation. If you need to drag the ...
