4.6 GNOME Tweak Tool
The GNOME developers believe that it is not useful to give users too many options to change the look and feel of the desktop. Many Linux fans also associate Linux with the freedom to design the desktop according to their own ideas. The popular GNOME Tweak Tool (see Figure 4.18) helps with this. You can also start this program under the name Optimization Tool. If GNOME doesn’t find the program, you must install it first. The package name is gnome-tweak-tool.
Among other things, the program allows you to set the following:
