28.2 Back In Time
Like Déjà Dup, Back In Time is a backup program for personal data. Most current distributions provide ready-made Back In Time packages (package name backintime-qt). Only directories accessible locally or via SSH are supported as backup targets.
Compared to Déjà Dup, the interface of Back In Time is much more technically oriented. There is no mistaking the KDE origin of the program. During the initial configuration, there are many more options available to influence the details of the backup.
