You have already become familiar with the (Del) or (Ctrl)+(D) keys and (Backspace) to delete individual characters. To delete larger chunks of text, you can use the commands listed in Table 13.4. If you execute the delete commands listed there multiple times in immediate succession, (Ctrl)+(Y) will reinsert the entire deleted text. (Ctrl)+(Y) can be executed multiple times and at any position in the text. The command thus allows you to move or copy the deleted text to another place.
