14.8    Hardware Reference

This book does not contain a separate chapter on hardware. Instead, the correct configuration of hardware components is covered in the corresponding chapters. Thus, if you have network problems, for example, Chapter 15 is the place to start.

This section has two tasks: On the one hand, it is intended to facilitate the search for further information on specific hardware components. On the other hand, you will find brief information on hardware topics that are neglected in the rest of the book. Of course, there are a lot of hardware components that are not described here or in other chapters of the book. That's because I don't have the testing capabilities that, say, a computer magazine has.
