8.2 Usage
Basically, zsh works like any shell: you can execute commands, redirect the inputs and outputs using < and >, link commands using the pipe operator |, and so on. I have already presented these basic functions to you in detail in Chapter 7. For this reason, I describe only some features at this point, ones that are missing in this form in bash.
If the correct option is set, zsh compares the command you enter with existing commands. If your incorrect entry differs only by a minor detail (e.g., a transposed letter as in the following example), the shell automatically suggests a suitable correction.
