Unlike Ubuntu, Debian does not distinguish between a desktop and a server variant. There is only one Debian. For server installation, you want to use the default installer already described in Chapter 3, Section 3.1. You can do this either in graphics mode or in text mode. The dialogs displayed are identical in content but are a little easier to use with the mouse.
The only difference compared to a desktop installation concerns the often more complex partitioning of the disks, including RAID and LVM on a server.
