Grouping questions can be used for card-sorting analysis. There are two versions: open and closed card-sorting analysis. For a closed sort, the participants are given a set of predefined options and a number of predetermined buckets to sort these options into. Both the number of each and the labels are predefined. This is helpful when investigating the information hierarchy of a content-heavy website.
