Identifying recommendations
The goal of any usability study is not to simply list the identified issues while observing users performing tasks with the product under testing. Ideally, the results will also comprise recommendations on how to improve on or even eliminate the identified issues. This is where the skill of the UX researcher is most important (well, second maybe to the script or survey writing at the beginning of a project). Not every negative remark made by a participant during the study is necessarily an issue that requires remediation.
