It is bad practice to ask superfluous, obvious questions, such as "Where would you click to check out your shopping cart?" when there is a huge Check out your shopping cart button in the middle of the screen. These kinds of questions can make the participants feel annoyed for having to state the obvious, or worse, they might think that the question is so easy that there must be another correct response to the question that they have not discovered.
