The number of sessions scheduled in a day depends on the duration of the session, how tight the project schedule is, and what must be done between sessions. Five to six one-hour sessions makes for a pretty full day.
Enough time has to be available between sessions to accommodate for sessions that are running over slightly. Time to reset or reload software or hardware between sessions, if necessary, must be taken into account, as well.
Bio breaks and lunch are necessities of life, and must be built into the schedule as well. Make sure that lunch is available for all team members. Appoint one team member to be in charge of lunch. A hungry moderator is not a happy moderator!
