I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Suitable throughout the development cycle
The survey-based approach is suitable for use with any product under testing, including static wireframes, interactive prototypes, products under development, and live products. Instructions inform the user of any limitations of the product, and these instructions can be repeated throughout the survey if needed.
Very complex prototypes with predefined paths that constrain the participant to follow an exact sequence of clicks might pose a problem, however, because there is no way to guide the participant back on to the right path if they get lost.
