Minors
When running remote studies with children, unmoderated studies are often the better choice, especially with younger children. Products aimed at children often include a gamification component to engage the child, such as leveling up and unlocking prizes. Unlocking rewards typically requires extended usage of the product, and such studies often run over a period of a week or two.
Since the children are minors, their parents are required to sign up for the study. They play an active part in the study, and are prompted to get direct feedback from the child, observe and report on the child's behavior, and provide their own feedback on the product throughout the study.
