When I went on the O’Reilly platform, I was astonished to find all the books there, plus live events and sandboxes so you could play around with the technology.I’ve been on the O’Reilly platform for more than eight years. I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Time-on-task measurement
Measuring the time spent by the participant to complete a task is not entirely reliable in the survey-based approach. Even though survey tools can measure the time taken or provide buttons for the participants to start and end a timer, it is not possible to see whether the participant was interrupted during the task, or to determine at which point the participant considered the task as begun or ended. As such, for survey-based studies, we prefer to ask how much time the participant subjectively believed the task took them to complete. Bear in mind, however, that people might complete a task within a couple of minutes and may subjectively perceive it to be too long, while others might think it went very quickly. Ultimately, ...
