When I went on the O’Reilly platform, I was astonished to find all the books there, plus live events and sandboxes so you could play around with the technology.I’ve been on the O’Reilly platform for more than eight years. I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Devices and tools
Be clear upfront about the devices and tools that the participant will need to use, and who will supply them. It is reasonable to expect that the participant has access to common devices, such as a desktop computer, a mobile phone, or a tablet. Some devices may not be as ubiquitous, such as smart appliances, or cars of a certain make, model, and year. Finding participants that own these products may be difficult. If a product is not commonplace but can be shipped easily, sending the device to the participant may be an option. For devices that are still under development, shipping it to the participants beforehand is necessary, as they are not available for purchase yet.
